My cat Reginald, age 4 months, on his first excursion outside.

This is what I would call a pseudoHDR, because it was made from a single JPEG.
Tone mapping done using Luminance, with the Mantiuk tone map operator.

I never used to think too highly of the Luminance HDR software.  I'd sometimes get OK results from 13 RAW files, but for the most part it was pretty dire. I don't know what the Luminance boffins have done recently, but now I'm getting results I really like from a single JPEG!
