Illegal Railway Station Shot

Wellington Central Railway Station, New Zealand

I was setting up a different (thereafter abandoned) shot when I heard the rumble of a train coming in behind me. Thinking I was potentially in for a pretty cool photo, I quickly hit the shutter button. The result is something I quite like. I'd like to say I don't care if you like it or not, but we all know that's bullshit and in reality I'll be in therapy for years if you hate it.

Shortly after taking this shot I was informed by the authorities that taking photos at the station requires a permit (tourists, be warned) and that one may not use a tripod. Safety reasons, apparently. I have since been racking my brains trying to think of what disaster could possibly occur as a result of using a tripod at the railway station, but so far I haven't been able to come up with anything.
